Edinburgh Guided Tours

The Hop on and Off Bus

Hop on and Off buses (you can get on and off wherever you want on the route) is a great way to explore all the main tourist sites. 24-hour unlimited Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with 360º views of Edinburgh. With an adult paying £18 and children free, it is also one of the most economical tourist options. The nearest stop to the house is Chalmers Street or the National Museum (number 5 on the map).

The closest stop to the house is most probably number 5. You can also just follow this route by foot (and maybe skip stops 2, 3, 13 and 14). The route covers most of the main sights (but also see our itineraries in “Things to do and Itineraries”).

This one stands out. I imagine that you will need pretty good English as it is a comic tour done by the person in the kilt in the images.
