Parking for Motorbikes
Because it is extremely easy to find on road parking FREE OF CHARGE for motorbikes in close proximity to the house, we do not cover parking for motorcycles. This is all the more so the case because often groups travelling by motorbike involve two, three or more separate vehicles.
You are entitled to park FREE OF CHARGE in Zone 7 in the designated parking bays for motorcycles on Roseneath Terrace, which is 2 minutes from the house. The bay is found at the light blue dot with a purple inlay:

Consider Parking Your Bikes in a Secure Car Park
It is not advised to leave motorbikes unattended in central Edinburgh, particularly overnight. As a resident, I can tell you that it is extremely rare to see bikes parked up on the road in Edinburgh. This is for a reason! We are unable to offer secure parking for motorbikes and there is a REAL danger of bikes being vandalised.
At the very least, consider protecting the bike with a cover and perhaps securing this cover with a lock.
Secure parking in a monitored car park (such as the NCP car parks) is recommended. But the price is high for a 24 hour park up.
